Windows 7 Software Features Multi-touch Media Transfer

With new software developed for Windows 7, you can transfer music and other media to your iPod, iPhone, Android phone and various cameras using just your fingers. Simply place the device on the computer surface and multi-touch that data to its home. Who needs a mouse or keyboard when you've got hands?

The new technology has the potential to look gorgeous, but as the folks over at gizmodo were quick to point out, it's probably not actually faster than using a keyboard/mouse. It looks like it takes a lot of movement to perform certain tasks that ordinarily just took a slight jerk of the arm maneuvering the mouse and a few clicks. Still, this looks beautiful. It looks like it would be fun to use (at least for a while) and certainly impressive to show off. Whether you like it or not (and we would guess that most people do), it looks like increased multi-touch capabilities are the wave of the future, and it'll be fun watching developers making it easier and easier for consumers as time goes on.     The thing is - multitouch is just a pain to use on a desktop monitor. You have to reach over the thing and it ends up less efficient and more uncomfortable than using a keyboard and mouse. Nice idea but just not practical.

    As you pointed out it's not actually faster than using a regular mouse and keyboard but if you look the ipad for example it's not that fast to use but it's so friendly user and actually fun to use that it's selling pretty nice.

    I don't understand the part of this being a part of Windows 7? If you look closely at the desktop it's very clear to see that its not Windows 7, but OS X! The icons, their placement and the Mac's menu bar are unmistakable!

    Vista x64 is substantially more secure through OS protections than XP is. Vista still won't be as fast as 7. Won't have the superbar. But under the hood, for the most part, they're pretty much the same. http://www.club-penguin.org/

    Vista ( http://file.sh/windows+vista+torrent.html ) for the rough edges it has compared to 7, is every bit as good in the security field. Technically, out of the box, it's more secure. So that won't be the case this time around. And for the record, it was the truth between XP and Vista. Vista x64 is substantially more secure through OS protections than XP is. Vista still won't be as fast as 7. Won't have the superbar. But under the hood, for the most part, they're pretty much the same.
