Sony VGN-T1XP - Ultralight VAIO NotebookThursday, February 10, 2005Are you a student, weighed down by college books? Or a weary road warrior, tired of almost slipping a disc each time you drag that chunky desktop replacement laptop from business meeting to meeting? - Well perhaps a Sony Vaio VGN-T1XP ultra light laptop is the answer. The sleek T1XP is a Sony Vaio from the T series, and weighs in at a slim-line 1.38kg. It offers a 10.6 inch (wide screen) X-black LCD display, which gives outstanding clarity. The VGN-T1XP also comes equipped with a 40GB Hard Drive, an Intel 1.1GHz Pentium M processor, and 512MB of RAM. Your wireless needs are also well catered for with solid wireless, and Bluetooth capabilities. As we've come to expect from Vaio's, the finish and design of the T1XP - from it's "Midnight Blue" chassis to the globally recognized sine wave logo, is of a very high standard. This T series has a battery life of around 6 and a half hours, if you use the minimum settings. Want more? Sony also throw in a DVD and CD ROM Rewriter. The computing specs of the Sony Vaio VGN-T1XP hardly set the notebook world alight, however, that's understandable. the T1XP wasn't designed to be a desktop replacement. The laptop's light weight, beauty, sharp display and excellent battery life, mean it is well worth a look for those seeking a notebook that can effortlessly slip into a briefcase. Club Med? I'd rather go Club Vaio :) Learn more about the T1XP visit: - www.sonystyle.com - UK and European readers - www.sony.co.uk By Lucy Layman Read another article: - Sony Vaio X505 laptop |
