The Inspiron 6000 Friday, January 28, 2005 The future has arrived, and it has Dell stamped on it. The new Dell Inspiron 6000 is set to begin the laptop revolution come winter 2005. What makes it special is its Intel 915 GM system chipset and integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 900. The Inspiron 6000 is one of the first notebooks, Dell or otherwise, to feature this new technology. Dell went with a white and silver chassis for the Inspiron 6000, but offer a variety of options to customize the 6000's cover, including cherry burlwood, carbon fiber, Mediterranean blue, and charcoal leather. The Inspiron 9200 Unveiled Saturday, November 27, 2004 The Inspiron 9200 is Dell's latest desktop replacement. A great feature seems to be the sharp 17 inch TFT Active Matrix UltraSharp display. The entry level Inspiron 9200 comes equipped with a Pentium M processor, 256MB DDR SDRAM and an adequate 40 GB hard drive. Of course specs like the hard drive can be upgraded to 80GB, but customising will cost more. The editors over at PCmag gave it a rock solid rating of 4 out of 5.
