The MHV2120AT - Fujitsu Unveils Monster Mobile 120GB Hard Drive

Step aside -- the latest and greatest in the mobile electronics industry has just arrived, and it definitely intends to rock your wireless world. Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., has pulled a powerful, 120GB, 2.5" mobile hard disk drive, out of the IT hat -- the industry's first.

Because laptops have become the top "go-to" computers for professional power-users, Fujitsu stepped ahead of the line to satisfy hungry tech consumers, foraging for top speed, heavy power capacity, low power consumption, a nice, quiet hum, and advanced shock tolerance.

Fujitsu's marketing and development gurus understood the need for increasing laptop hard drive storage capacity, and thus, the MHV2120AT mobile hard disk was born.

The specs are outstanding for mobiles: read/write power consumption, 1.6W typ.; load/unload of 600,00 cycles; idle acoustics, 2.3Bels; and operating shock, 2,940 m/s2 (300G) 2ms -- just to name a few.

This gentle giant is also green, being RoHS compliant, RoHS is the European Commission's recent directive to stamp out hazardous materials in the process of manufacturing electronic equipment.

You might want to get box seats now for this true "industry first": Fujitsu's newest will be available to distributors in May 2005, and comes with a standard three-year warranty. The sweetest deals sometimes come in the smallest packages, and you can bet Fujitsu's going to be shipping these hard drive puppies out fast.

Not bad for the once-"little company" who has become one of the leading provider of customer-focused information technology companies -- with annual revenues of U.S. $45 billion, to boot. Not bad at all.
