Broken Notebook - Who You Gonna Call?"Noooooo!!!!"Ah, a familiar sound: likely heard every time your laptop freezes, leaving you utterly "unconnected." Most people would rather have root canal work performed by an unregistered Peruvian dentist, than deal with the paralyzing anxiety that laptop technical problems can cause. Fear no more! NoteFix is to the rescue! The company proudly declares itself the No. 1 "go-to" for laptop troubleshooting. For many years, NoteFix has been the "unofficial" repair shop for broken laptops worldwide. It's also naming names, citing Toshiba, Sony, and HP as the Top 3 notebooks requiring repairs, according to their records (20,000 in all, so far). Interestingly, though (according to Notefix) Toshiba has the dubious Notefix distinction of being the No. 1 repaired brand. Looking on the positive side it's also the easiet laptop to fix. (On a personal note I've had a Toshiba Satellite for 2 years with no problems - Lucy) Conversely, Thinkpads require the fewest repairs. Here's how it's meant to work: Pack up your now much-maligned laptop and ship it to NoteFix, where skilled lab technicians ID the damage, fix what's broken, and ship it back to you, free, UPS overnight, guaranteeing safe return within just a few days. Though we're gratified to know NoteFix is there to repair our wireless lives, try to avoid sending your laptop to "Notebook Hospital." Take your time when deciding on network gear, and don't "shortcut" installation. Be patient when connecting so all devices will be able to "see" each other. Just take a few extra steps to protect your network against attacks and viruses. Don't think, "It can't happen to me." You'll be heading to Lima for some cheap dental work if you believe that.
