SOLO has come out with a sleeve that lets both you and the x-ray machine work.
There are other notebook sleeves out there that you can run through the x-ray machine, thereby avoiding the irritating process of removing it prior to sending your laptop through the scanner, but SOLO has taken things to a new level. Their CheckFast Always On sleeve is both x-ray compatable and also opens up into a functional workstation. The case holds the notebook in place at the corners and has openings in the back so that you can run your power or other cords straight through. The sleeve comes in both a 15.4" and 17" size, so it can handle most laptops. SOLO has a few other CheckFast cases too, including one for netbooks.
