The Laptop Musketeers - Laptopical's 2006 Awards |
|
2006 was an
innovative year for laptop computers. Both AMD and Intel pushed
dual core technology to the max, and big brand manufacturers
wasted no time in packing our portable pals with these cutting
edge processors. How did we choose laptops for our 2006 award
list? - We just went with our own opinions, hence the "We Like
It" awards. But even the most fawning of Laptopical's fanboys
would admit that "We Like It" is a rather bland moniker. In a quest to liven up our 2005 award proceedings, we compared notebooks with characters from the John Sturges western "The Magnificent Seven". This year we've decided to milk the creative genius of Alexander Dumas, and offer you our "Laptop Musketeers". With a cry of "All for one, and one for all!" these laptops would have even dastardly Cardinal Richelieu casting off his scarlet ferraiolo and running home to his mère. |
