E3 Expo is the world’s largest annual gaming-related convention and is organized by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA).

This year’s E3 Expo is held at the L.A. Convention Center June 2-4, and is guaranteed to attract all the prominent game developer houses. Both games and gaming hardware, such as next-generation consoles, have historically been launched at E3. To be admitted to the tradeshow you have to be eligible for a press or industry affiliate badge.

Those lucky enough to be admitted will be greeted by fireworks (literally) and new products from exhibitors such as Sony, EA, Sega, Square Enix, Activision and Ubisoft among many others. Since the first E3 Expo in 1995, the convention has grown at the same pace as the PC and video gaming industry at large, which is to say a lot.

    Expo is always very interesting. The new item which are on display are awesome. Love them specially the tv, just have seen a italian soccer on new led tv. It was awesome

    Really informative workout. I assume sony will do the same thing and I doubt nintendo will feel they need to. So microsoft and Sony have full motion immersive controls. Resume

    I was so happy I got to go to this last year. It was so much fun being able to see all of the different games coming out and all the new technology. PinkyXXX I can't believe the first expo was in 1995. That was such a long time ago. So what, it has been almost 15 years? That is quite some time to be cheap dental implants around for.

    Unlike last year, we are seeing lines everywhere and even though the event is supposed to be limited to "trade professional", but I know I just saw someone who was dressed up as Zelda running around with a show floor pass.
