Compaq Presario B3800

Hewlett Packard recently announced the release of it's Compaq Presario B3800 Series Notebook. Unfortunately right now it seems that this laptop is not available in europe or the states, just the southern hemisphere. That's a shame as this beauty comes with a multitude of attractive features such as a Centrino Pentium M 745 1.8 GHz processor and an 80 BG hard drive. HP also states that this notebook PC has a battery life of up to 4.5 hours. Seems like they've come up with a real winner!

Sounds as though he was most impressed. Do you like the sound of this laptop? At the time of writing we have no official release date, but hopefully the Compaq Presario B3800 will be available in the West - soon.

i had the B3827ap for almost 5 years. i purchase horizon warrenty. which was good because in the past 5 years i had to replace the hard drive, keyboard and monitor and they fix all for free. This slim laptop has a lot of heat issue. how easily it breaks will depend on how you look after it. it is one of the most comfortable and light laptop. it is definitely not junk. because its so slim its got to have its problems. I always keep mine elecated to prevented it from frying. but because i'm a programmer i use it all the time the hard drive is bound to fry and the keyboard is bound to break.

My daughter's Compaq Presario died and had its motherboard replaced and 4 months later it was dead again, and they wanted 2 and a half times as much to replace the motherboard the second time after their dismal 90 day warranty on the replacement motherboard. Criminal.

I have a compaq presario 306 us and after 20 months and rarely used, I need a new motherboard. HP is Junk and I wouldn't buy one.
