Compaq laptops are still being sold under the Presario brand alongside HP Pavilions. HP has made sure that desktop replacements, multimedia machines and ultraportables are all represented. Pricing flexibility and variety has proved popular with home, small business users and college students.

Hewlett Packard recently announced the release of it's Compaq Presario B3800 Series Notebook. Unfortunately right now it seems that this laptop is not available in europe or the states, just the southern hemisphere.

That's a shame as this beauty comes with a multitude of attractive features such as a Centrino Pentium M 745 1.8 GHz processor and an 80 BG hard drive. HP also states that this notebook PC has a battery life of up to 4.5 hours. Seems like they've come up with a real winner!
