Asus Announces S101 Eee PC
Asus has announced their newest upcoming Eee PC - the S101.
This sleek machine is undoubtedly styled after the Macbook Air, and lookes nothing like it's older siblings, the 701/901/1000.
The laptop will weigh less than 1kg and measure in with a thickness of 1.8 centimeters. It boasts a 10.2" display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, runs off a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, comes with a 16GB/32GB/64GB SSD, 1GB RAM, integrated 802.11n Wifi, Ethernet, flash card reader, Bluetooth 2.0, VGA out, three USB ports, and an integrated .3 megapixel webcam.
The device will be available in brown, champagne, or graphite and give the option of either Windows XP or Linux.
Both versions will cost $700, while springing for the 64GB SSD will tack an extra $100 on the price tag.
