Tiger 10.4 Takes Apple - "On Safari"Apple's ferociously cutting edge operating system, 10.4 Mac OS Tiger x, has been garnering much praise from the world's tech and computer press of late. After successfully weathering the first stage of a lawsuit by computer product retailer, Tigerdirect, Apple's 10.4 OS, which retails in the states for $248, was named by PC World as "Best Operating System".Todayonline.com also found much to praise about Tiger 10.4, in particular they found Spotlight, the meta search tool, an invaluable new feature. Spotlight enables near instantaneous email, image and file search. Voiceover is another incredibly useful feature that offers spoken word descriptions of on screen events, ideal for the visually impaired.
